EMME/2 uses a series of standard link, node, and turn attributes for modeling traffic networks. Below is a brief summary of some of them. For a complete discussion of how to define and use these items, please refer to the EMME/2 documentation.Standard Link Attributes
- Type is the user defined link classification
- Lanes is the number of lanes of traffic on a link
- Modes is the set of modes allowed to use a link
- VDF is the index of the Volume/Delay function that describes the operation of the link
- UL1, UL2, and UL3 are user defined attribute fields
- Length is the length of the link
Standard Node Attributes
- UI1, UI2, and UI3 are user defined attribute fields
- Label is a 5 character alpha-numeric node identifier
Standard Turn Attributes
- Turn Penalty is the index of the function describing delay time for the turning movement
- UP1, UP2, and UP3 are user defined attribute fields
For a description of how these attributes are coded for use with the 2.11 Toolbox, please refer to Item Definitions.
