There are two project selection menus that are always available -- the Project Names and ID# menus. Projects can be selected from either menu by clicking on the appropriate name or ID#.Tip: On the Project Names menu, the ID# of the project is listed in brackets following the name.
What happens when a project is selected depends on whether the Toolbox is in Fast or Full Mode:
- In Full Mode, the Project Attributes and Link Attributes menus are displayed, showing the characteristics of the selected project and link. The ArcEdit Window is redrawn to focus on the existing project.
Tip: The degree of zoom can be changed on the Settings menu.
- In Fast Mode, only the Project Attributes menu is displayed, and the ArcEdit Window is not redrawn. The coordinates of the window are updated, however, and the selected project can be drawn by selecting Redraw from the Pan/Zoom menu, or by typing <CTRL-R> in the ArcEdit Window.
Tip: Should either of these menus become hidden, you can redisplay them using the small Menus pull-down menu.
